St James is an Episcopal Church and part of the world wide Anglican Communion. We are a sister church of the Church of England and the Episcopal Church of the United States of America.

We are a community of faith that gathers every Sunday at 10.30am and 12.30pm. Our main act of worship is the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. We welcome members of any denomination or none.

This year we are undertaking a programme of prayer, study and mission under the general heading of 'Going for Growth', inspired and encouraged by our Bishop.

We seek to open our doors more often and hopefully encourage those who pass by to come in and use our church building for prayer or just to have some time of silence in the presence of God.

We offer minisitries of prayer & thoughtful listening. For those who want the sacraments of Baptism, Marriage, Visitation of the Sick, or Ministry of Reconciliation we invite you either to come to St James when the doors are open or call the priest: The Reverend Max Paterson.
